Terms & Conditions & Privacy Policy

By placing an order, submitting a form, or using the services of Left-Handed Embroidery, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Custom & Personalized Products

All products are custom-made and personalized specifically for each customer. Because of their personalized nature, all sales are final.

Once an order has been placed and production has started, changes, cancellations, returns, or refunds will not be accepted, unless the item is defective or an error was made by Left-Handed Embroidery.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming all personalization details before submitting their order.

2. Order Processing & Turnaround

Processing and production times vary depending on the product, customization, and order volume. Estimated turnaround times are provided on individual product pages or communicated at the time of ordering.

While we make every effort to meet estimated timelines, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including supply issues, holidays, equipment issues, or shipping carrier delays.

If you require an order by a specific date, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm whether the requested date can be accommodated.

3. Customer-Provided Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted with an order or form is accurate, including spelling, names, dates, colors, designs, and other personalization details.

Left-Handed Embroidery is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or misspelled information provided by the customer.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped using third-party shipping carriers.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, Left-Handed Embroidery is not responsible for delays, loss, theft, or other issues caused by the carrier.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 5 business days of delivery and provide photographs of the damaged package and product so that we can assess the situation.

5. Event & On-Site Embroidery Services

For on-site embroidery events and activations, bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date.

Any remaining balance is due by the event date unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Left-Handed Embroidery reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event due to unforeseen circumstances, including equipment failure, illness, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where applicable, we will offer a refund or alternative date.

6. Intellectual Property

All designs, photographs, graphics, logos, branding, website content, and other materials created or provided by Left-Handed Embroidery remain the intellectual property of Left-Handed Embroidery unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or otherwise use our designs, photographs, branding, or other content without prior written permission.

7. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Applicable taxes will be calculated and charged at checkout based on the customer's location.

Payment must be received in full before production begins unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

8. Marketing Communications & SMS Consent

Where a customer voluntarily provides their contact information and checks an applicable marketing consent checkbox, the customer expressly consents to receive recurring marketing and promotional communications from Left-Handed Embroidery and/or the collaborating brand or company identified on the applicable form.

These communications may include SMS/MMS text messages, emails, and other electronic marketing communications regarding promotions, offers, products, services, events, launches, and other marketing activities.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

Marketing consent is optional. If you do not check the marketing consent checkbox, your personal information will not be used for promotional marketing communications such as marketing text messages or marketing emails, except where otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.

For SMS marketing messages, you may withdraw your consent at any time by replying STOP to a marketing text message.

For marketing emails, you may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in the email.

You may also contact Left-Handed Embroidery or the applicable collaborating brand directly to withdraw your marketing consent.

Where consent is collected through a form, we may retain records of the consent provided, including the date, time, form, and other information reasonably necessary to document and manage consent.

9. Personal Information & Privacy

We respect your privacy and aim to collect and use only the personal information reasonably necessary to operate our business and provide our products and services.

Personal information may include information such as your name, email address, telephone number, shipping address, billing information, order details, personalization information, and other information that you voluntarily provide to us.

We may use personal information when necessary to:

  • Process and fulfill orders;

  • Provide requested products and services;

  • Communicate with you about an order, inquiry, booking, or service;

  • Process payments and maintain transaction records;

  • Provide customer support;

  • Maintain business, accounting, security, and legal records; and

  • Send marketing communications only where the appropriate consent has been provided, or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.

If you do not provide marketing consent, we will not use your information for promotional marketing communications such as marketing SMS or marketing emails.

We may share information with trusted third-party service providers when reasonably necessary to operate our business, such as payment processors, shipping providers, website and e-commerce platforms, email or SMS service providers, and other vendors who assist us in providing our services.

We do not sell your personal information.

10. Privacy Requests, Data Deletion & Withdrawal of Consent

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, where applicable, or withdraw previously provided marketing consent at any time.

Our website and third-party services we use may use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate the website, understand website usage, improve our services, and, where applicable, support advertising and marketing activities.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Left-Handed Embroidery is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to an order or service will not exceed the amount actually paid for the applicable order or service.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Changes to These Terms & Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.

Your continued use of our website or services following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
